The
House
of the Prince
of Condé
Located in the centre of France, in the region of Auvergne and in the Département de l'Allier,
the Medieval village of Charroux
is classified as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages of France". It
is a 25 minute drive West of Vichy and 50 minutes North of Clermont-Ferrand.
The bed and breakfast "La Maison du Prince de Condé" (XIII - XVIII centuries) is situated in the
heart of the village. What was formerly part of the moat is now an
enclosed garden with its lounge chairs and picnic areas, all at the disposition
of our guests. Here you can relax and profit from the peacefulness and
tranquility of the French countryside.
The lounge
is ideal for quiet conversations, or you can bury yourself in some good books
here.
The Dining Room dates
from the XIIIth century. Vaulted, spacious, it is an ideal
environment for convivial breakfast (always included in our prices)
conversations.
